Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

i had an arbitration hearing for an auto accident almost a month ago and still havent recieved an answer from my lawyer . is this common?

It depends. Has your lawyer been timely with information in the past? One month is not an unreasonable amount of time to hear from an Arbitrator, but if you're generally unhappy with your lawyer's performance, it's probably a good idea to speak with a different attorney.
