Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

Fell at my job site while one break was in some pain but didnt think to much of it manger gave me tylenol got home en pain cosist then went to work a couple days later my bck was still lil sore en brusis ignored it but as he day go on my bck hurt more en im curently feeling a numbness in my finger which i hit while falling they did not file a accident report becuase they said i was at fault for not wearing work shoes is there something i can do about this?
