I would need to review the police report but it does not mean that you are comparatively negligent or that the NYPD van was not negligent. You can have been double parked waiting for the parking spot to become available when the van collided with you. Had you been waiting for with turn signal on? I would be glad to discuss your options with you. Please call me tomorrow for an absolutely FREE consultation or email me. My office phone number is 347-702-4133 and my email is [email protected].

Go directly to the police precinct and speak with the commanding officer. You can have the report changed. Best, M. E. Zuller

I don't see this to be a big issue if you were double parked and waiting for a parking spot. Were you given a ticket for double parking or for failure to turn on your signal? That being said, you may consult with me absolutely free. To schedule an appointment contact me at 347 612-6677.
