Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

Insulting remarks

If I'm a writer on a story and I print a statement such as, ''this businessman gives horrible customer service and treats his customers like crap''... based on the testimony of several customers, is this a libilous statement?

What about the customer's cases... if they have been shabbily treated can they say so and what language can they use so the article won't be legally inflammatory?

Re: Insulting remarks

I think that your statement could be construed as defamatory. If I were you, I would have an attorney review your entire article before you end up being sued.
