Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

What are my rights?

I was dating a high profile individual who knowingly spread a disease to me that I have to live with for the rest of my life. Is this illegal? What can I do about this? He has ruined my life both emotionally and physically.

Re: What are my rights?

If you can prove this to a judge or jury by a fair preponderance of the credible evidence you would be entitled to substantial monetary damages.

Good luck.

Re: What are my rights?

There is no simplistic answer..the difficult paret is proving "knowledge"..merely one person;s word against another's, without more, is usually not enough on its face...of course, credibility of each individual is also a factor.

Any questions, please contact me at [email protected] can refer you to competent attoeneys in your area.

Good Luck
