Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

sue the bar with steep stairs after broking a bone?

So i woke up in ER with a broken collarbone and wounded face. i didn't remember exactly what happened and the nurse told me the ambulance picked me up on the side walk near a bar that was located on second floor with a steep stair. i am not 100% certain but i did have a blurred memory of going up to that bar, plus i have consulted several doctors, each of them say it is much more likely to break a colloarbone from stairs than walking on the ground.

so the question is, if i passed out and broke a bone but not 100% sure every details of that night,

can i sue the bar with the steep stairs that caused my fall? and what evidence should i collect before starting a case?
