Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

HOA Fees undisclosed at closing

I closed on a Townhouse seven months ago and at closing was not told that the seller had an unpaid Homeowner's Association balance. I recently received a letter stating that I need to pay for $291 in unpaid dues. What can I do at this point or I am responsible for this payment?

Re: HOA Fees undisclosed at closing

Speak to the lawyer who represented you at the closing.

These items are normally adjusted at closing together with taxes, fuel, etc.
