Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in New York

Alleged harasser is not technically our employee

How do you handle a sexual harassment complaint from one of our employees, when the alleged harasser is not a company employee, but employed by a sub group of the company?

Thank you

This is a very complicated area of law and the facts are important to any analysis of liability.

You must tread very carefully-liability may depend on the degree of supervision and control, or inter-conected relationship of the sub corp.

If you wish to discuss this further email me with more detail.
