Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in New York

not sure who to contact

at my last position, i was laid off and brought back as a consultant. my boss took me to lunch and told me that i should 'show my breasts more in the office to be successful'. i quit the next day and have no desire to get involved in the court system, but he has a history and i want it documented. where should i go? can you provide guidance? i don't think it's eeoc's jurisdiction, because i wasn't fired over it...?

There could very well be a sexual harassment claim here. It is not necessary that you have to be fired. If you quit because of the comment, it may be enough evidence.
