Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
Can you be pulled over for an inspired inspection sticker in NY state? Not at a road block but by an officer in a car across the street that says he saw my sticker was expired. Also is there anytihng i can do to get it thrown out of court? It is 3 months past due but what if I get an inspection the same day i got the ticket?

The officer has excellent eyes and he knows how to tell be the color of the sticker and if it is likely to be an expired sticker. Both the ticket and the inspection should have the time listed. If the inspection occurred after the ticket, you are out of luck and if it is the reverse, you may still be out of luck for failure to display the sticker. Good luck.
