Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
I received a ticket for an expired registration sticker on my car ,however I already ordered the new registration before I got the ticket and before it expired . If I present that evidence will the judge eliminate the ticket? My other alternative is to have a$20.00 reduction which I will lose if found guilty. What should I do?

I would plead not guilty and explain to the judge that you had already sent in your documents, and check, to re-register. Bring all documentation that you can, with an emphasis on the date that you sent in to register, then the judge might dismiss the ticket. There are no definite ansers. The result depends on the judge. I don't understand what you mean by a $20 reduction.
