Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
I have several unpaid traffic tickets in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. They are all over 15 years old and I am not able to pay the fines they have set. Are there any ways to not have to pay the fines since the violations took place SO long ago?

No, you will be required to pay. They will keep accruing interest until paid and your license will be suspended until such time that the fines are paid. You might want to consult with a bankruptcy attorney to see if they can be discharged in bankruptcy. Other than that, you could try to get attorneys in all three jurisdictions to attempt to get the cases opened and see if a lower fine can be secured but that will probably take more funds than the fines are.
