Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

When a resident of Maryland I had a complete set of estate papers, revocable trust, will, power of attorney, etc. prepared. I am now a resident of New York. If I do not have the papers revised will the New York courts honor my requests even though they were prepared using Maryland forms?

If prepared properly in Maryland, yes.

You should have a NY attorney examine the documents to determine if they meet NY requirements.
