Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

Settle a will

My aunt passed away more than two years ago. Her estate was to be divided between her 17 nieces and nephews. The attorney says he is working on the case, but other things come up and he just hasn't gotten it done. What can we do to force this issue? He no longer takes our calls.

Re: Settle a will

The attorney is retained by the administrator / executor for the estate. Therefore, you should be placing the onus on the administrator / executor to force the attorney to do his job, or, to retain another attorney.
