Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

I signed a document put in front of me by my daughter after the death of my husband giving her the insurance money from his policy,97K. I trusted what I was signing because she is my daughter and told me wshe wanted to be sure the funeral expences were covered. She is now useing this document to have me give her money for her expences and allowe her to live in the condo my husband and I purchased,,,,I can not afford to let her live in the condo since it has a mortgage and expences,,,I live in another state close to my family. My question is: Can this document be used to keep insurance money and allow her to live in the condo with me footing the bill? My husband passed away 5 -25-2012.Thank You .

If she somehow took advantage of you or gave you false information, you need to speak with an attorney. You can certainly call me for more information.

Sounds like you signed a Power of Attorney or an equivalent document giving her rights to act in your name. I agree with David that it appears you were defrauded or were taken advantage of and the only way to remedy this is probably going to court and suing your daughter to reverse and revoke what you did.
