Legal Question in Family Law in New Zealand (Aotearoa)

relationship property forced house auction

My partner and I have been seperated for 31/2 yrs. We went to court and agreed house sale and price. The house has been on market for 2 yrs and now he wants to force a auction and drop the price. Can he do this and what legal standing do I have. I dont have a problem with selling but I need half of our already agreed price with in reason.

You should go back to the lawyer who represented you in the Court settlement and get their advice. This all depends on whatever agreement you and your husband signed, and your lawyer will have that.
