Child Custody and Access Rights

what are the rights of a father in Nigeria to access to children and custody where he was never married to the mother. He has been paying child support consistently but only gets to see the child at the mothers pleasure. He would also like some some say in where the child goes to school, have the child get to know and interact with his side of the family especially cousins of the same age ad grandparents. the child is a 2 year old girl and he has been aying child support of $420 for 18months since he was allowed a semblance of access.
