Legal Question in Disability Law in North Carolina

pain on the job

my 55 year old husband's job was eliminated at a newspaper, he was moved to press room where he has to stand for 8-9 hours a day -- before this he had major problems with his legs and employer knew this, now at this new job he is in severe pain from all the standing & walking --- does he have any rights or claims against the company where he has been employed for 35 years??

Re: pain on the job

Your husband may have some rights which have been violated, but only if you think this was done because of a discriminatory motive. You should talk to a lawyer in your area who handles labor and employment matters. You may want to start looking either at lawguru.com or www.nela.org.
