Legal Question in Bankruptcy in North Carolina

Filed in North Carolina but didn't complete the process.

I filed a Chapter 13 in North Carolina but did not finish with the process. The filing fee and attorneys fees were paid. I now am in a situation where I need to finish this process possibly with a Chapter 7. Can I still file or not?

Bankruptcy NC and Indiana

I will make certain assumptions as to your question ...I will assume that your 13 has been dismissed in NC. you can not have two bankruptcies going at the same time ... I will also assume you have changed you legal residence to Indiana.. you cannot file here unless you live here. Now the only issue left is the requirements to file in Indiana. You must meet one of the following situations:1. lived in the state for 180 days 2. lived in the state longer than any other jurisdiction (if two states then lived in this one for 91 days)3. principal assets are located in Indiana
