I signed a contract to clean a local university dormitory. I purchased the necessary insurance and did all other things needed to complete this job. A couple hours after signing the contract and given the the ok to begin work, I was notified that someone else would be doing that job. It has been almost one month ago. What can I or should I do?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say the following. It really depends on what your contract with the university says. You may be able to recover some or all of the money, but it's not possible to say without seeing the contract. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
