Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina

criminal PJC

Five years ago I got a misdemeanor possesion of marijuana and was given a PJC. I am now trying to get a job in asset protection and my background check came back with this charge on it. I haven't gotten in any trouble since, but it was my understanding that the charge would drop after a year if I didn't get in any more trouble. Is there a form or something I fill out?

Address the court wherein the conviction occurred. IF NC, a CO atty will not help. If CO: Determine whether POCs are missing. Gat them all in and move for dismissal.
