Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina

Drug parphenalia charge for copper choreboy alone.

I recieved a paraphenalia charge and am awaiting court. I was pulled because I was in a known drug area and they found nothing but a large, unburnt piece of copper chore boy. Even though it is common knowledge in law enforcement that this material is put into pipes for screen and used to smoke crack, there was no pipe or drugs found. Is this a vailid charge?

it is a valid charge, but you may be able to contest the stop and/or the arrest...you need a lawyer; either ask for the Court to appoint one for you or take steps to secure one...the fee for such an offense is usually not terribly high
