Felon move into North Carolina

If a person commits a felony in NY State, and is still on probation, what procedures need to be taken to move into North Carolina?

You have to get permission from your probation officer so that your probation can be transferred to North Carolina. If the probation officer refuses, you can make a motion to the judge.
