Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

Child support and number of days dad sees child

Does it matter in the calculation of child supporr how much the father sees the child? My ex wants to recalculate support because he has adopted his wife's child, but he has not seen my child for almost 9 months and states he wont see him until he is 18 due to the fact he states he hates me. He stated this in an email. Is it something the judge should know? Thanks

The number of "overnights" he has could reduce his child support obligation by putting him on Worksheet B. But under the scenario you describe, I doubt the number of overnights he has would make a difference because I suspect you are already on Worksheet "A"
