divorce

if my husband cheats while we are living together and i have proof does that matter when i get my divorce or when i go to court about it???

I can only answer if you plan to divorce in WA. I'm not licensed in NC.

NC may very well be a fault jurisdiction. I don't know, but in WA, divorce is 'no-fault'. That means you allege the marriage is irretrievably broken, and no more.

The Court does not inquire further.

Cheating is not a basis for more money or any other relief, just that the marriage is broken.
