How long is a Separation Agreement binding in NC?

Depends. 'Binding' in the legal contractual sense is an entirely made up human concept. So you are only bound by Agreement as long as you willfully choose to abide by it or as long as someone can force you to abide by it or until until something happens to cause it to no longer be binding. For example: you can Agree to a specific period of time. The Court could order the Agreement be invalid. The parties could lose and / or destroy all copies of the Agreement. One or both of the parties could simply refuse to be bound by the Agreement. The world could end. The parties could die.
