Legal Question in Employment Law in North Carolina

past due commission

I work in Va & Tn, my company is based in Nc. I work in the sales field. My compensation is Salery + Commission. I get paid my commission when the company is paid. I have since gave my 2 weeks notice. My question is am I entitled to my sales commission after I leave? If so, is there any law that can back up my argument? I firmly believe that I deserve the compensation.

Thanx,

Scotty

Re: past due commission

You are entitled to receive any commissions which you earned while you were employed with the company, even after you have terminated employment with the company.
