Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in North Carolina
no inspection no by-laws given
My wife and I agreed to rent a townhome. Before we moved in the landlord did not inspect the property with us, or notify us of a very strict set of by-laws. After move in we became aware of many repairs needed and that our children could not play outside because of the by-laws. We moved out and are now being sued for the damages that already existed in the townhome.
