Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

Fifteen years ago, my brother and I inherited a property in Banner Elk, North Carolina. A few years later, I paid my brother for his share of the property for which I have paid all taxes which are still in my father's name and property association fees since the purchase. My brother wrote a handwritten (in Pencil) agreement that he no longer has any claims for the property. What steps should I take to have the property legally in my name. My brother is willing to cooperate in the transfer.

Speak to a real estate attorney...a deed needs to be drafted to transfer the property officially.
