Trespassing, illegal logging

While an adjesent lot was being logged. The loggers crossed the property line and cut down some trees on my land. What recourse do I have to get compensated for the trees removed and others damaged on my property. The trees removed were arround 90 year old Oaks.

You would in fact have a claim for trespass, and possibly other claims. There is a statute which may in fact entitle you to double damages, in which case you would be entitled to double the fair market value of the trees. You may want to consult an attorney for more assistance.

You do have some rights to compensation. Consult an attorney in your county. Start with a real estate attorney that litigates.
