Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

My wife and I are separating and we have divided the assets so that she is fairly compensated for her portion of the home equity and we both agree this has been done and that the house will be mine. She is willing to do a "quit claim" but understandibly wants her name off the mortgage which a quit claim does not do. How do we do this?
