My spouse left me the property in a will when he passed away. How do I have his name removed from the deed?

Get a new deed. Is the property owned free and clear? If so, who is the personal representative of the estate? Where is the property located? Either the personal representative can issue you an executor's deed or, if the estate has been probated and the land is owned free and clear, then a real estate attorney can prepare a new deed for you. If the land is subject to a mortgage then you would have to get your own mortgage or have another way of satisfying it.
