Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio

LLC and personal responsibility

My husband and a partner had an LLC that ended in OCT. 06. In NOV. 06, he and my dad, who was the salesman, went down and put a pump below the fiberglass pool my husband installed and broke up some concrete to allow room for it. This was because one of the pool walls was bent inwards. i understand that the LLC would protect them, ordinarily, however, they did work after the LLC ceased to exist (1 month later). please let me know if there would be any personal responsibility if this goes to court. my understanding is also that with an LLC, the customers could sue the company, but there are no assets and no money, so they wouldn't get anything, right? the condition of the bowing of the pool wall has worsened. this is why i am concerned. so, please let me know about the personal responsibility after the LLC closed and the general responsib. of the LLC. thank you very much.

Re: LLC and personal responsibility

If the pump was not installed as an employee of the LLC, it has no force, and both installers would be personally liable for damages. Did you husband still own shares in the corporation when he did the work?
