Legal Question in Technology Law in Ohio

How Should Internet Sponserships Be Refunded?

I Have A Website On The Internet And Another Site Was Going To Sponser My Site From July 1 - August 1 for $40. On July 1, the site claims they sent me an e-mail stating that they wanted to pull out from the sponsership, but I didn't receive it. I put the banner/link up for 4 days and now they want a refund. I want them to pay for the 4 days, but they refuse to. Since we are both minors, the other site claims there is a law that states that I must return the full $40 to him, but I have never heard of this. Please help, Thanks.

Dear Sirs,

I am not familiar with OH law however a basic tenant of contract law is that a contract with a minor is not enforceable except for necessities such as shelter. I would suggest you strongly consider if the problems and animosity this will cause with a potential future customer is worth the $40 or fraction thereof you are trying to retain.
