Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

I got caught stealing some ipods, a camera, and a gps from walmart while I worked there. I was not arrested on the spot due to my cooperation. I haven't been notified of any sort since I was fired. I took more than 500 dollars worth of items. What can I be charged with and what kind of sentencing am i looking at. I was young and dumb. I have no criminal past other than a couple of speeding tickets. Why haven't I been notified since that night? It's been 2 years. I am trying to move on with my life, and need to know what I should do

Theft of goods valued at $500 or greater but less than $5000 is a felony 5. This is punishable by up to 12 months in jail and a $2500 fine plus court costs and restitution. Since you were not arrested I would just lay low because there really is nothing you can do to force the issue. (It seems that it was forgotten). Also, since you were not convicted of any crime, you need not disclose this problem on any job application.
