Re: Changing lawyers

It is late to find another attorney for your current court date. When you arrive at court, explain this situation to your attorney and also to the judge or magistrate. In my experience, the judge will not proceed with a client who wishes to terminate the services of his or her attorney.

Re: Changing lawyers

You do not have a lot of options with a court date scheduled for tomorrow. You could show up at court and tell the judge that your lawyer and you have had a falling out as of today and that you desire time to obtain a new lawyer. The judge may or may not grant you time. Your best bet is proabably to talk with your attorney and fnd out why he did what he did. Perhaps there is a reasonable explanation. Most lawyers do what they feel is in the best interest of their client. Good luck
