Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

child custody

My dad and mom have custody of my daughter. My dad got a dissolution from mom and remarried. I want to get custody of my daughter. I gave them custody when I was 18 yrs old and she was about 6 months I willingly gave her to my biological parents. Since he has moved out of state and remarried I think that I should be able to have my daughter back. He lied and told mom that he was coming back to get her so they both would have my daughter. Since he remarried and didn't actually tell me himself that he was taking my child out of state I want her back. I'm 24 and have a full time job. Him on the other had can't ever keep a job to say that he has a stable environment for my child. She is 5 yrs old and doesn't know why she was ripped from everyone in her hometown. What can I legally do to bring my child back home to stay with me?

Re: child custody

You can petition the Court for custody through your local juvenile court. You may want to consult an attorney for all the steps involved, or at least contact the court asking about the forms you would need.
