how long do you have to be married to get allimony from a husband? No children but wifes job is cutting hours and she has health issues. husband wants disolutionment, can you get allimony with this?

In Ohio, spousal support (formerly known as alimony) depends upon a lot of factors. But the primary factors are the length of the marriage, whether the party seeking spousal support gave up upon his or her career in order to be a homemaker, whether or not the party seeking spousal support will be able to maintain a lifestyle similar to that enjoyed during the marriage, and/or the ability of the party seeking spousal support to support him/herself.
