In Ohio, the first thing that you want to look at is the blood type of the baby. It will be either the mother or the father's blood type. If it is neither the mother's blood type nor your blood type, then you are eliminated as the father and there is no need for a DNA test. It it is your or the mother's blood type, then DNA will have to be done to establish paternity unless you admit that you are the father. That is a hard thing to admit to if you are not sure it is you.
