moving out of state after divorce is finalized

hi,-i currently am involved in shared-parenting with dependant minor child.i plan on moving out of state next summer.the father has not visited with child since 4/2001.on last contact 5/2001,father told child there would be no more visitations.there have been none to date,still receiving child support.what chances do i have on being able to leave state?my son has medical disabilties,& my move would allow me more time @ home with child.and i intend on getting remarried.your help would be greatly appreciated on this matter.thanks--

You need to file a notice of intent to leave. Odds are that the Court will grant the motion, but just to cover your behind, it would be my suggestion to file the intent to relocate.
