Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

Mink coat stolen at restaurant

I checked my mink coat (left to me by my aunt) at a restaurant and they gave it to someone else. They don't have a sign saying ''check at your own risk''. I had not had its value appraised. Is there anything I can do to get my get my coat replaced?
