Legal Question in Health Care Law in Ohio

would you please answer me to this question.

When the company offers a health insurance for their employ and when the employ fills the health insurance aplication .The question on application is if the employer had any mental illness ,and if he answer yes.Can the company fire him ,or can insurance refuse him ,or can they charge him high premium. Please respond back.

Or what can happen if a person do not answer to that question,

or do not answer the question correctly.

If the mentail illess will not adversely affect your ability to do the job and it was not an issue on your job application that you failed to disclose you can't be fired for this. If you failed to discclose this issue on your job application and now they learn of it you can be fired. As far as the mental illness issue, you need to disclose honestly your history as you will be denied coverage for any issues not disclosed as pre-existing contions. For group rates, the premium usually is not increased due to this type of a factor.
