Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio

I found out my employer is deducting more out of my pay check for health insurance than what is promised. They are taking 34% out of my check instead of 30%. The told me my portion is 363.00 and the insuranc carrier says my premium is 1074.00 therefore it should be around 322.00. Is this right that they are lying to me.

Unfortunately if you are an at-will employee, lying is not the issue. What you need to know is your employer's policy regarding deductions for health insurance. Whatever it is, it needs to be applied to everyone equally. I recommend you go the HR to inquire about the discrepancy.
