Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio

Not sure if this is a legal question but dont know where else to turn. I am a CNA And have worked in nursing homes for 13 years In order for me to keep my certification up I must work 8 hours in a 2 year period. I quit my last job in april 2009 because my employer did not report my employment to the state it has expired. This was a paper work mistake that could easily be fixed I have talked to 5 people including the administrator and corp office all who promised to fix this and still have not I am a single mother of three kids and can not get a job because of there carelessness is there anything i can do

Call up the state agency that regulates CNAs and file a complaint giving all the details. Also, your past employer, by law, must store and supply you with your wage and hour records upon your request. Perhaps you can report the information yourself.
