Tooth Chipped at Champp's Restaurant

On 9/22/2007, I was eating at champp's restaurant in Westlake, OH. Ordered dinner, and was eating, when I came upon a large piece of metal that I bit on. It ended up chipping my tooth. The manager took care of our bill and said the insurance company would be contacting me either 9/24 or 9/25. Which they didn't. The manager said the piece of metal, that was very long, looked like a bobby pin that was 3x thicker that was stretched out. The man sitting at the table next to us gave me his business card as a winess. As the days went on, i noticed swelling around the jaw area, and discoloration under my cheek bone. My job consists of talking, and doing that just makes it swell more. I went to the dentist on 9/24 who fixed the chipped, but only bonded it so, it's not permanent. Also, on the one side that the chip was on, the bottom and the top teeth do not touch anymore. The restaurant still has not contacted me, nor anyone else from the insurance company and it's getting aggravating. Any advice would be amazing!

You should contact an attorney as soon as possible to help represent you. He or she can contact Champps on your behalf and speak with the restaurant chain's insurance company to get you compensated.

If you sit around and wait for a phone call, it is likely that you will never hear from the insurance company. They will hope that you just forget about it and so they won't have to pay you anything.

The attorney you choose will probably advise you to continue whatever dental treatment is necessary to allow you to return to normal (or as close to as possible). He or she can try to get the cost of all your treatments paid for by the insurance company and also include additional money for pain and suffering and possibly enough to cover attorneys' fees as well.

If you have any further questions, feel free to contact me.
