Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

Can a city building department force me to replace a driveway on a rental property? There have been no complaints by the tenants and the current driveway, while not ideal, is not unsafe in my opinion.

The short answer is yes they can. The law defines what is safe or unsafe, proper or improper. Your opinion, while important, is not controlling. You should check with a local real property attorney if the city continues to press you.
