Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

My husband and I have been married 3 years. The house we live in is in his name. If he would die would I be responsible for the mortgage?

The mortgage attaches to the property. So if your husband dies the mortgage would need to be paid off or the house sold. You would not have personal responsiblity for the mortgage.
