Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

Is there a way that members of housing associations can have the financial records of the association audited? Is there a way to hold housing assoction board members accountable for the way in which they operate the association? Ex. Make sure that there are adhereing to the contract and that the fees are administered properly.

YES!!! (1) Retain experienced Counsel to represent the individual homeowners.. (2) Counsel will prepare and sned a demand fletter to the Association for an audit and accounting. (3) If the Assn. agrees, have your forensic Accountant perform the audit. (4) If the Assn does not respond timely, delays, or disagrees, or doesn't respond at all....(5) File an action in the Common Pleas Court for an audit and accounting, citing the specific reasons for such action and demand.
