Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio

Rights to see Evidence

I'm from FLA and was vacationing in OH when I got lost one night and was pulled over by a Police Officer who I had passed 3 times. He tried to arrest me for DUI, but I passed all the tests and as he was finally brought me back to the car he handed me a ticket for 2 charges. One for weaving and one for left of center. I know that I wasn't weaving nor left of center. If the police officer had cameras in his car do I have a right to see the videos as evidence ''against me'' or would it even be worth fighting in court because it's so far away? Most people tell me to just pay the fine.

Re: Rights to see Evidence

Probably won't be worth fighting, if the fines are not excessive. You may have to travel and get a lawyer. If you fought the case you would have a right to view the evidence. Feel free to contact me if you have more questions. Best regards, Edward diCato
