Legal Question in Veterans Law in Ohio

traffic violation

Senerio- Driving down a major highway in heavy traffic and you pass a sherrif traveling in the opposite direction. He turns around a follows your car for aprox. 5 miles and pulls you over for following too close. If your traveling the speed limit, acutally 10 miles under the speed limit b/c the car in front of you is slowing down in advance to make a left turn and you didn't hit them and you didn't have to slam on your breaks, how is that following too close? It seemed as if he saw a 2001 red corvette with the license plate ''Way 2 hot'' and a girl 30 years old with blonde hair and came up with some off the wall reason to pull her over. Does this make sense? My name is spelled wrong on the ticket and he used my moms information and scrated it out to write mine. It is a mess so to speak.... Do I have a chance for the ticked to be dismissed in court?

Re: traffic violation

"Yer honor, the cop pulled me over because I and my car are WAY too hot."

Yes, it is entirely possible that that's why he pulled you over, but don't count on it flying in court.

On the other hand, the other circumstances sound pretty ridiculous, so you might challenge the ticket, I just wouldn't try the "I'm too sexy for this ticket" defense.
